Hello! I’m Dawn Leonard

I’m the owner of Sacred Rhythms here in Greensboro, NC.

I love to support women in their pregnancies and in preparation for birth and motherhood - and I’ve love to be an additional resource to the birth professionals and your clients in the Triad. You can watch the 3 minute video above and use the links and resources below to learn more.

Student Testimonials

  • Dawn creates beautiful, safe, and healing spaces for mothers on their journey through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I attended her prenatal yoga classes almost every week in my second and third trimester and have attended her childbirth workshop and mothers' circle. I had a peaceful, empowered birth thanks to the mental, physical, and spiritual preparation from Dawn's classes and have continued to foster a community with other mothers while prioritizing my mental and spiritual health as a new mom. Thank you, Dawn!!!

Courses + Classes

Yoga for Motherhood

I offer weekly Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Yoga and Yoga for Motherhood (birthing people at any stage of motherhood are welcome).

Visit the Yoga tab in navigation to learn more about each class offering. No yoga experience is needed!

Childbirth Education

Birth preparation takes many forms and a good childbirth course will prepare students for the physical, mental and emotional challenges of labor and birth.

This course is now online and on-demand!

Mother Circle

MotherCircle is an 8 week deep dive of sitting in Circle, exploring the unseen aspects of motherhood, as created by Kimberly Johnson and Jessica Connolly.

Somatic 1:1 Sessions

Sometimes a person needs more individual care. I take a somatic (body-based) approach to helping birthing people overcome fears or physical challenges. My belief is that we birth the way we live so I also offer pregnancy and birth coaching.

Ceremony

I believe that birth is a rite of passage. For those that resonate with this, I offer Mother Blessings and Postpartum Closing Ceremonies to honor the spiritual realm of motherhood.
