In every class I offer, I aim to create an atmosphere of calm power where you can turn towards your intuition and trust the process that is unfolding.

In Yoga for Motherhood, we use postures, breathing techniques and meditation to nourish and heal the body, soothe the nervous system and connect with each other as mothers.

  • ...thank you for the most amazing time I've had attending your yoga classes through my pregnancy. I thought they would get more challenging the more pregnant I got, but it turns out I was getting stronger the whole time. I am so thankful for you and the work that you do. I looked over at my husband last night and said "I'm so sad I won't get to go to yoga tomorrow night."

  • That feeling of fulfillment, satisfaction and gratitude 🙏🧘🏽‍♀️💪🏼✨ Yesterday at OWC, we were able to experience and learn about our sexuality, sensitivity, reproductive system and so much more! @sridawn took us on a journey that left us feeling complete, relaxed and fully aware of our bodies and it’s needs!

  • I took Dawn's prenatal class at Magnolia Birthing Center and it was my first yoga class. I was very nervous, and frankly since I'm overweight, I was intimidated at the thought of being in yoga clothes at all. If you're scared - GO FOR SURE! No matter what level of yoga experience you have, you'll get lots from this class. Dawn is a fabulous instructor and I cannot describe the level of rest and self-care and encouragement she incorporates into her class. Seriously, I credit her with keeping my blood pressure low during my entire pregnancy. She is awesome and the best thing since sliced bread!

  • Your deep labor sounds are what carried me through so much, a long labor & 4 hours of pushing

  • Thank you for everything - your guidance has been so important during my pregnancy and helped me a lot in labor--even though it did not go according to my "birth plan"!!

  • Dawn does a fantastic job tailoring her class to what her participants need. Her experience as a birth doula and a mother herself means she’s been there, felt that, and can guide you through what you need to feel grounded, confident, and physically well during your pregnancy. I loved her classes and will definitely be back.

  • Dawn creates beautiful, safe, and healing spaces for mothers on their journey through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I attended her prenatal yoga classes almost every week in my second and third trimester and have attended her childbirth workshop and mothers' circle. I had a peaceful, empowered birth thanks to the mental, physical, and spiritual preparation from Dawn's classes and have continued to foster a community with other mothers while prioritizing my mental and spiritual health as a new mom. Thank you, Dawn!!!

  • I took Dawn's prenatal yoga class from the mid first trimester to birth and loved every one. The positions, visualizations, meditations and breathing exercises were great for my first time mom worries, busy mind and strange body aches. Dawn individualized the the sequences based on my (and other mamas') needs/trimesters and I felt good, mentally and physically after each class. These classes definitely helped me prepare for a satisfying birth experience and gave me better techniques to face the challenges and general stresses that came with my pregnancy. The postpartum classes are great too its just harder to get to those with a new baby!
